Quality Control Department
Quality Control Department is the back bone of pharmaceutical manufacturers. Quality
Control Laboratory is situated on the right side of the main building on the ground floor.
Quality Control Laboratory is categorized in 5 areas including a conventional lab,
an instrument lab, retaining sample room, microbiology lab & sterile testing room.
Adequate covered lights are installed in every part of the quality control department.
Conventional contains glass wares, Stability Chamber, furnace, flash shaker and weight
balance. Fuming hood, oven and glass wares washing area is also available on one side
of the room.
The Instrument room is located on one side of the conventional lab containing milligram
apparatus, ultrasonic bath, potentiometer, filter assembly, HPLC, column oven for HPLC,
mili volt controller UPS, Spectrophotometer single beam, Spectrophotometer double
beam, polarimeter, pH meter, magnetic stirrer and melting point apparatus.
Microbiological Laboratory is also available for sterile testing. Instruments available in
the room are refrigerator, colony counter, microscope, centrifuge machine, particle
counter, cooled incubator, hot incubator, filter assembly, micro pipette, incubator for LAL
test, autoclave and water bath.
