Composition
Each ml contains Imidocarb Dipropionate 120mg
Indications
Imido-far injection is used for the treatment of the protozoal diseases babesiosis (in cattle and sheep)
and anaplasmosis (in cattle) with are transmitted by ticks. For the treatment and prevention of bovine
babesiosis (Redwater fever-Babesia divergens infection) only. It is also used for the treatment of anaplamosis
in cattle and ehrlichiosis in dogs and for the elimination of babesia spp. in cattle and horses.
Dosage & Administration
Pharmacological Dose
Treatment dose
For cattle it is 1.2 mg / kg bodyweight, for sheep it is 1 mg / kg bodyweight, for swine it is 2 mg / kg bodyweight, for horses
it is 2.4 mg / kg bodyweight and for dogs it is 3 mg / kg bodyweight.
Preventive dose
For horses, it is administered at a dose of 2.4 mg / kg bodyweight for two days against B.caballi, at a dose of 4 mg / kg bodyweight
for four times, each one in an interval of 72 hours, against B. equi followed by a dose of 7.5 mg / kg bodyweight in the following day.
For dogs, prevention dose of 6 mg / kg bodyweight is administered.

Precautions
Withdrawal period for meat is 28 days and for milk is 2 days.
