DICOTYL Injection
Composition
Each ml contains Tylosin Tartrate 50mg; Colistin Sulphate 10mg; Dimetridazole 100mg
Indications
Dicotyl injection is indicated in CCRD (Mycoplasma), E-Coli, Cholera, Salmonella, Coryza, secondary
bacterial complications of viral infections, Digestive dysenteric diseases with complex etiology, diarrhoea
in calves, alternative treatment for urogenitary and pneumonia infections. Dicotyl injection is used in the
treatment and prophylaxis of trichomoniosis. It has been used to prevent and treat infections caused by
Histomonas meleagridis (blackhead) in pheasants and partridges.
Dosage & Administration
I.M Injection
Cattle: 1ml per 10kg body weight
Horse & Camel: 1ml per 10kg body weight
Goat: 1ml per 5kg body weight
Poultry:
Prophylaxis: 1ml per 10kg body weight
Treatment: 1ml per 5kg body weight
Presentation
10ml, 50ml & 100ml vials
Precautions
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Prolonged treatment can be dangerous.
